The Ferrari F40 on the Group C chassis possibly represents the ultimate Tamiya Poster model. I know I had a poster of the real F40 in my boy's room, and the Tamiya model probably had the same appeal. The F40 model, like the NSX is a street version (although how many real F40's ever saw the street...) and it came with wheel covers and red A-Parts. Like all the vintage Group C models, the body shell came unpainted in the kit. Like many of the original Group C models, the Ferrari F40 was reissued in 2005 as an assembly kit with finished body (58356)
