Tamiya Audi A4 STW (58182)

The famous German automobile manufacturer's Audi A4 showed impressive performance at touring car races all around the world during the 1996 season. The Audi A4 is equipped with a 2 litre, in-line 4 cylinder DOHC power plant, which produces an impressive 300 horsepower. Unlike the other competitors, it uses a sophisticated four-wheel drive system, which brought outstanding results especially at races in rain. Tamiya's model of the Audi A4 also uses a four wheel drive system just like its full sized counterpart. A powerful 540 type electric motor is mounted on the front for optimized weight distribution, and the power is effectively transmitted to the front and rear wheels via a drive belt. Suspension is a four wheel independent double wishbone type, damped by four oil-filled shock absorbers.
