There is a lot of spams with people posting things with post count = 0 in any part of the forum, and it becomes quite frequent...
- Maybe it would make sense to make the whole forum as read only for new member until they have presented themselves in a proper section where they can post as new member... As per what I saw in other forums this reduced a lot the spams, as presenting themselves makes already a lot of effort, and this will act as a filter for the new members.
- Makes a certain number of post mandatory before the new member can post a link : this is also helping in some forums...
