The TRF414 has made some big results in some big races! Based on feedback from those races, the Tamiya Racing Factory brought out an even higher performance chassis, the TRF414M. The major improvements focused on the suspension geometry, including the roll center. Furthermore, the wheelbase of the TRF414M can be adjusted over a 5mm range. For the owners of the TRF414, TRF release a conversion kit for the TRF414 to become a TRF414M. This was released prior to the JMRCA All Japan Touring Car Championships, in November of 2000. The TRF414M complete kit was then released in March 2001. Its rigid carbon main frame and aluminum bulkhead are exactly same as the ones in the conversion kit, and the front one way/rear differentials are common to the TA04 chassis.
