Hi, advice / help please.
So this servo came on a chassis I picked up. The main servo horn needed replacing so I ordered spares and fixed that. When I’ve plugged it all in, it would only turn in one direction. So I took the top off and the small spindle just keeps spinning. Is this thing just junk or have I missed something. TIA, Al |

All the gears need to be installed so that the limiter can work, If the limiter is in the wrong position that could explain why it will only turn one way. Try and centre the limiter before installing the gears (while not connected) and if that sorts you out
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Even if you can't fix it, I'd keep it - you never know when you'll need to modify a servo for constant rotation, need a dummy servo, or need a lead/plug - better to use that than kill a perfectly servicable one
