Any way to limit the travel in the steering? 13 years 1 month ago #677

I've just picked up a Grasshopper 2 as a bit of a project and I'm having a bit of an issue with the steering set up.

I've got a modern Acoms radio set with an AS-12 steering servo. ESC is the 101BK.

My issue is the servo travels further than the model allows making the servo saver pop apart if you pull full left or right. Is there a way to limit the travel or some other solution to this problem?

Thanks in advance.

First, the problem sounds weird..
How many degrees does your servo turn, from side to side?
You can limit the travel of the wheels by moving the steering rods to the inner holes on both the servi saver and the uprights, but it does not sound like that is the problem?

Secondly, if you have a modern transmitter (what is the model number?), there might be programming possibilities to limit the servo travel.
