I found this engine attached to a gear box of a vintage Hornet.
The size is equal to the Mabuchi / Johnson 540, anyone can tell me
If the performance of this engine are greater than or equal to engines
540?
Thank you.

I looked it up, supposedly it's "just" a 27 turn single so nominally the same as the "silvercan" motor Tamiya usually supply ... however as it does have a rotation direction I would guess it's been given a bit of advance on the timing to give it a tiny bit more poke ... I think you'll have to try it & see, but I suspect the difference will be barely noticeable :(

I read this on TC :

The Kyosho Lemans Stock 05 was originally made for the twin motor monster trucks, so they were made as a forward rotation and reverse rotation pair. Silver label on the forward rotation, gold label on the reverse rotation one.

I think he did a bit of a switcheroo though. If I'm not mistaken, reverse rotation normally means forward motion.

Yes Edou, rotate the endbell backwards gives faster forwards. You normally lose torque doing it though.
The missus has a green Le-mans in her Madbull (Can't remember which one, but it's adjustable/rebuildable, & has ballraces). From memory, the rotor is a 27 turn one, but it's pretty mental
