I looked it up, supposedly it's "just" a 27 turn single so nominally the same as the "silvercan" motor Tamiya usually supply ... however as it does have a rotation direction I would guess it's been given a bit of advance on the timing to give it a tiny bit more poke ... I think you'll have to try it & see, but I suspect the difference will be barely noticeable

I think he did a bit of a switcheroo though. If I'm not mistaken, reverse rotation normally means forward motion. |

Yes Edou, rotate the endbell backwards gives faster forwards. You normally lose torque doing it though.
The missus has a green Le-mans in her Madbull (Can't remember which one, but it's adjustable/rebuildable, & has ballraces). From memory, the rotor is a 27 turn one, but it's pretty mental
