Cool info, Lars! I've been reading a build thread from a recently built reissue C11 and it also seems that the factory finished body comes without any "Castrol - Goodyear - AEG" decals. The inside of this body I saw on the pics also had two black numbers marked on the inside. Of course I've also noticed that there has been a rereissue ( ) and this car was such a one... Feel a bit like Sherlock Holmes with this. Would be nice to know the possible differences related to the F40 too... |

There are two versions of the 58351 C11 (reissue).
One in white box and one in a black box. The one in the white box do have the AEG, Good Year and Castrol decals. The one from the black box does not. The black box was the second "batch" of the rerelease model, with the same model number (58351) Again, Tamiya is making it difficult for us... -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. There's so much info out there - even stuff we don't know about not knowing it yet!
I'll keep my eye out for interesting details. About any car for that matter... Great stuff and very interesting to know. |
