Tamiya Porsche 959 11 years 3 months ago #18071

Oooooh Yeah baby... I finally got me one of these:

Its not in bad condition. The body is shot, but the headlights, and tail wing is perfect. Rims are straight, chassis has no cracks. No motor unfortunately, but I'll work on that. I ordered a Team Blue Groove replacement body. And my plans are to fully restore it, and install the original mechanical ESC, and maybe take it down to the local track for a slow and nostalgic trip down memory lane...

Forgot to add the price. R500 which is about 40 Euros. I will need a Decal set, and I am missing this part if anybody knows of a seller, or can donate it to me... lol

Sorry man,
I sold my 959 since some monthes...
If you want, I have a new central diff. It was an option for the 959. It is absolutely mint. For your motor LeeAvante sell 2 technigold on ebay. You can see on his topic.

I bought it for my 959 restoration but it was too expensive for me and I sold it.

Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to this restoration. However, I am worried about tracking down the steering parts I'm missing. I haven't found any on Ebay, and there is almost no chance of finding here in South Africa. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there...
