My c11 is full black. The blue was for the imsa and another one.

I did remember sending you the unpainted shell, Flo.

My brain meanwhile dealt with so much coding info that some memories had to take a backseat.

Indeed they're black according to the spec but I've seen a few with blue too. Perhaps Tamiya threw them in with some of the later batches.

I don't think I even have a complete chassis anymore where I used to have about three. I still got a shell with lighting though.

Sad news, the guy actually responded but as i asked for pics of the front end of the chassis, he stopped responding and took down the post a few days later.
Really sucks, would've been a good car to restore...

They also changed the colors for some of the re-releases. I have the F40 "finished body" and it came with black even though the original was red.

Some great info here and some nice pictures. Just love the Group C chassis.First run out yesterday she's a beaut ... For a near 30 year old car it handles brilliant. Not lightning fast but to be honest I wouldn't want to push it any more. ( 4500mah 7.2nimh , Sport tuned )
