WOW!!  So much easier to use that the stupid tool I've been using up until now. 

 

Those wire strippers are pure gold, have had mine for a few years.  The little silver knob/dial thing is also good for adjusting the clamping pressure.
Now you just need a ratcheting crimper, and life will be perfect.

First time ordering from L& L Models - all arrived today:

A body set and decal sheet for a TOM's ESSO Toyota - I seem to be getting a few of these JTCC cars together now. 

 

Also got a 3D printed "whale Tail " type wing , used on the Tamiya Escort Cosworth rally cars. 

 

Plus , again from L&L Models - 2 free sticker sets for FORD escort rally cars . I figure I can make this fit other bodies as well. 



 

Plus a bunch of Sanyo capacitors , so I can try to make up some glitch busters. 

 

I think I got a great deal on this, and I can't believe the shape it's in. Aside from being a little dirty from storage, it looks to have only suffered very minor scratches from one roll-over, and maybe a couple front bumper hits on a curb. It'll clean up great one day, but for now it goes into storage:

  

 

I'm stupidly happy about this score! Looks to be built to 90% then used as a shelfer. Tires and wheels are perfect, and to have all the parts on trees waiting to be finished, and the box, manual and decals, too? I guess it's true, the third time really is a charm, but I'm stopping at three, I swear!
