Last night I got a CS Countach chassis made up. This is what I would class as the hop up version. It has the fibre hop up chassis and optional gearcase and red end 540SD motor. Note the motor hangs over the back of the chassis whereas the standard motor/gearcase faces inward.
That's all the different parts they had. While I was blackening standard Mech deck and gearcase bolts as per my other thread, I decided that I would cleanup and black a set of original screws. I think they look quite nice. The bumper is my work, not 100% perfect but that's fine with these. |

Thanks guys, I've actually been testing different media in my blasting cabinet. This one is sodium bicarbonate which I have found the best uniform finish for the mechanism deck. Alan, I changed the media AGAIN after talking to you HA!!! That was £25 down the drain as the plastic media was rubbish!

The bicarbonate is used on real car to blast bodies and avoid to destroy them.
A good choice. |
