Here's what we in the civilized world call an upgrade.
It does a great job spinning the wheels. .. at the cost of certain cosmetics. Well, the "rear guard" doesn't really add any driving properties or stabilization to the car, except for perhaps some protection and/or carrying it. We all hate sand in the machinery, so making sure the motor compartment stays clean is important. I've used some silcone fix to stuff any cavities around the wires. .. then driving it, imagine the old 27T and compare it to this 15.5T brushless - goodness gratuitous! My Fighting Buggy is awaiting the same upgrade. Just to be clear, it comes with minus this rear guard motor cage. At least on the Sand Scorcher. Fighting Buggy has a bit more space around the motor so the custom lid with thicker wires should fit with the cage intact. |
