The bodyshell was trimmed in 15 minutes with this great tool... And it is probably the first time I get cut lines as good as those ones...


I prepared the masks this morning... Did not used all of them, the part around the exhaust was a bit too risky to my taste, so made without it...

I'm very happy with it, although I made a mistake : forgot to apply mirror on two masks elements, and as a result I got the refuelling entry on the left side rather than the right side... It's really a detail. I probably won't use any of the stickers as I find it good this way (no stickers, only masking and paint job).

Remains the wing and accessories to deal with, and some soldering and set servo, ESC on the Kyosho Spider TF-3 chassis and the car should be ready for next week-end on-road vintage event in Macon...

It is very nice. 

Finished the Kyosho Spider TF3 setup: motor soldered, esc pasted, rx pasted, servo trimmed (the chassis was clean and built already, I will run it first this way. I'm not sure of which state the motor is, so I'll take another one with me just in case)... (And I won't add anything on the bodyshell, as it is quite nice already, except leds (but later))

I switched filamanet brand for ecologic reasons, got tired of plastic spools. So i switched to a dutch brand and bought some rolls in various colors. Havnt made any good results printing big parts. I played with profile settings a lot over last 2 weeks for no real success. I should have a 2nd BMW and Simca body ready, but no, i produced half a roll of waste instead.
Switched back to my tiny remains of the Filamentum HIPS i used before and it prints fine.....grrrrrr. Have to wait til next month to be able to buy new filament.
Meanwhile i printed smaller stuff which doesnt need to be strong. Also functional parts which arnt tall work fine (with 100% infill), not with the visual quality, but i dont care.
So i printed some more potential co driver figures.
 

Today I prepped the Escort MkII body for paint

Uploaded 3 articles & got another one almost finished.

Looked at a 5th and thought "there's a lot more left to do than I thought there was"
