The guys finished the construction work today. They did an excellent job.
All it needs now is some paint and a new heating unit...

Came 2nd in last night drift comp and a friend gave me his car ( Xary T2 ) to fully rebuild and tune.

Tried to find some nice looking casual cotton zip-off pants for normal day wear.
(I ride my bike everyday to work so when it is hot in summer thats the easiest way to wear less in a wink)
Nowadays the ones they sell are made out of plastic.
Hey!, I want to build things that are made of plastic I dont want to wear them.

Man, what a mess...
The night before last my appartment flooded with an extreme rainstorm.
Never seen it rain that hard - or loud for that matter.
Murphy's law decided that with this event it was time to break off the rainpipe and put it in the gutter.
Creating a dam that pushed the water under the roof, right where the lead had a bit of a gap...
From there it went into my double ceiling, spreading out and creating a shower all over.
Not much was spared but I was fast enough to get most of the electronics out of the way in time.
It got to my bed as well but fortunately I had put on a watertight molton sheet that saved the matrass.
So that's what I've been doing the last two days - cleaning and drying.
While I was at it, I upgraded my computer with extra USB slots. So I'm back on line again...

Sorry to hear about your flood

I climbed onto to roof yesterday and was just glad I could conclude it was due to a combination of circumstances...
And not something to expect again.
I had some trouble in the past but thought that wouldn't happen anymore with the new roof they put on.
Man, was I wrong. I freaked out somewhat when all this water came down.
But kept a clear enough mind to save everything, apart from some important (paper) documents.
The weirdest (and loudest) rainstorm I've ever seen...
