Info wanted about Tamiya's Dash 3 QD 11 years 4 months ago #16626

Back on it's day a friend of mine had a Dash 3 "Shooting Star" of the QD series, today I want to find info about this vehicle, but all I find are mini4wd pictures, ebay ad's about random parts and Trojan ridden result farms...

Image seems to be resized. I'll see if I can put up a better resolution and different size...

Edit - more readable now I think.

As I assumed all my life, it's more a toy than anything else (back on the day I moped the floor with a friend's dash 3 and I was using a Nikko Dictator Jr) he had proportional steering, but I had a 540 motor... :P

Yeah, not the most amazing car ever released - 1/14 Quick Drive. But quite interesting nonetheless.
Bet you could make it a serious runner if you modify it a bit. Got some potential at least...
Some of the other early small scale QDs are based on the coolest models though.
What's strange about some of the other cars in the 46-series, is that they're 1/8 glow engines TGX.
