Just a hello from sunny Yorkshire (my attempt at a joke)

Picked up a second hand Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin 58070 from a friend and I'm in the process of fixing it up.

Yeah it's my first Tamiya and first kit build/proper RC car. I remember owning a Tyco Hi-Jack back when I was younger and loved it.

I've already made an attempt to paint the body shell red but failed as I never stripped off the old paint! D'oh.

I'll see if I can get a new topic up and running so you guy's can follow the rebuild and eventual re-paint.
