I've recently acquired an ancient Avante 2001 and am going to be asking a lot of questions. First RC car in20 years :)

Thanks! Not ancient relatively but I always wanted an Egress when I was younger so going to break a few things on this before moving onto that :)

Good plan. The Egress is brilliant as well. :woohoo:
I even think you could fit an aftermarket body shell on your current chassis...



Drive that for the feel and keep the original Egress on the shelf to look at. :lol:

Especially since there are several generations involved (hadn't read your other posts yet). :silly:

Any advice on other upgrades too I'll take also. I'll be looking to get another second hand Avante or Egress as second runner (having 2 kids this is a necessity), possibly a third for parts if I don't get a totally different model.

Avante for kids :silly: good luck it is a fragile car.
My father has one, and I broke a lot of front parts when I was younger.
