Guess I forgot to post an intro thread. Names John and I've been into RC since 1986. I've had lots of cars and truck over the years and most were tamiya. I've recently started to take interest in fixing up and running vintage cars and so far I have a scorcher, 2 wild ones and 2 hotshots. None are shelf queens.
I mostly lurk on forums and just digest info and I only post when I have something relevant to say or a question. I look forward to learning alot form you all! |

I don't think it's compulsory to post here
Your username though - I'm guessing that stems from an interest in Wankel engines? ... If I had to guess further, the Mazda RX-7? |

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys!
I'll get some pics up hopefully soon. I had a major hard drive failure and lost alot of stuff so I'm clawing back from that. Jonny: You nailed it sir! I have 2 RX7's an 89 turbo and an 89 non turbo, and I used to have an 87 non turbo as well. I'll be selling off the 89 non turbo hopefully soon. My avatar will be my turbo car as soon as I get another pic cropped to size. Among my RC cars are also a couple of tamiya battle tanks! Specifically a tiger and a sherman. Sadly there aren't too many people to battle with due to the cost of entry. I still love those things though. |
