I have two older Tamiyas right now, an Avante 2001 & a TA03R. The Avante is almost ready to run - new electronics, wheels, body, shocks etc. The TA03R will have a lot of work ahead. I also have a new Axial Yeti - lots of fun but I like the vintage stuff more. TVL

Yes, I have to admit that I love Vancouver winters - it's a lot of fun to watch the snow on TV! Of course if I want to play in the snow the ski areas are less than an hour away.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome everybody. Don't have any pictures of the TA03R, a pile of parts is not much of a photograph. Here's a couple shots of the Avante though.
