Hello all,
i am coming from RC flying (foam and wooden 1:10 scale warbirds). I got into rc hobby after i stopped working as a game artist for various simulations and also a silly, but funny car arcade game. Flying i stopped, because my number of landings didnt match the number of starts and the fear to destroy my balsa plane didnt let me enjoy it anymore. Now with corona pretty much limiting everyone i thought it is time to get some project for the boring winter time. I bought a used m-02 chassis with lot of additional stuff........originally i didnt want to start a hobby again, where you need repairs and parts replaced. I want to build a car body shell myself from scratch. In my lifetime the most modern car i ever owned was from 1970, the oldest from 1959, so i thought i would create my most beloved car i ever owned for myself. ....and thats basically why i landed here. Thx for the warm welcome.
Since i forgot to mention the car model i plan to do, and i am sure its unknown to 99% of you, here it is: I plan to do the street version i owned and also the record winning race modification made by Hans Exner, who unfortunally died last year:

Yeah and dont forget Chrysler.......... the death sentence.
I drove it from 1987 to 1990, unfortunally the spare part situation was really bad even back then. That small thing was such a joy to drive, i really miss it......but hopefully not for long anymore |
