Show Us Ya Shed!!! 11 years 6 months ago #13824

After drooling over Andy's fantastic workshop I thought it may be interesting to see other people's sheds/workstations/displays,etc.

Here's mine.

This is where my cars live when they are not in pieces. The box on the bottom right shelf contains transmitters. The three 1:32 cars are original relics from my childhood, they have been with me for about 25 years.

For me RC cars has been mostly a winter hobby so I usually work on the cars in the comfort of my dining room.

Edit - Sorry about the poor pic, I just took it now to start this thread.

I think it's a cool topic. My own stuff's just all over the place.
Andy's out of this world workshop would definitely belong here as well.

Hi guys,

Well like Edou said, i don't have 1 shed where i do all my stuff. The most of my cars are kept in the attic, were i also do my painting. The shed is used for building and working on my nitro cars mostly.
Here i do my painting, and yes the KT is still not finished  working on photo-etched parts still...

As you can see i need more space...

Now my shed...

This box i use for the stuff i am driving atm...

Ty

Haha... just noticed I managed to catch my neighbour's cat in the last pic, on "his" chair, face firmly buried in his beans as usual!

Re: Show Us Ya Shed!!! 11 years 6 months ago #13904

Cheers Bram!
Sorry to disappoint you though, the mill is a manual one - I bought it with a view to converting it to CNC, but ran out of cash before it happened. I got as far as putting scales & DRO on it, rebuilt the gearbox with steel gears/components & made a shopping list of ballscrews, steppers, stepper driver PCBs & mainboard, but that was it, well for the moment anyway.
I do however, have access to an enormous CNC router at work! We've also got 5x injection moulding machines, but I've yet to convince the boss they should be making toy car bits!

Anyway, none of this is half as exciting as your loft!
