Winter 2012/2013 Snow pics? 11 years 5 months ago #16045

2-3" of snow fell here overnight, but was melting really quickly - it was little over 1" by the time I'd got my strides on & a battery topped up ... still needed 4WD to get anywhere  Top speed donuts in the slush on the patio was fun :D

You mean like these ? I might have a crack at some for the bruiser, I have plenty of chain left ...

but TBH I've come to the conclusion that what you really need for snow is big wheels - Clod type big.

Oeh, very nice stuff there... B)
May not really work but it would look quite awesome nonetheless.

Think we discussed it before but I remember driving on the ice with home made spikes in front and Holiday Buggy rears.
Went better driving backwards I think...

Still not easily demountable, but I think these are a slight improvement over my previous snow chains, in that the rubber band takes up any slack a lot easier than having to take links out :)

No snow here... Thought they were joking when they said Luton & Stansted airports were closed due to snow this morning! Guess that explains why Tesco had pallets of beans & bread out on Friday!

Cool snow chains Jonny!
