At first it seemed very slow going, but it turned out good.

would you re use that? i think they weld the cracks, you should say it is leaking air after suchs damage

Yes, These are steel not aluminum. Once they are cold rolled back in to shape they would be fine, Besides the fact these machines have been manufactured (not home made) it must be a viable option .........
