Anyone recognise this?

The car came from the North-East (UK), if that helps.

Looks a lot more "vintage" with the correct wheels and shock towers:

The "Andy's" front arms are wider than the standard ones and look a bit silly with the skinny tyres. I have the standard arms in the spares, so I might put those back on.

HI!... Nice car to start with. The chassis has quite a bit of extra holes drilled in it. That devalues it quite a bit. The shocks are not original. Can't tell by the pics but does it have a stealth trans in it? Is it a A or B chassis?

It's an A chassis with a six-gear trans with the external diff.

The stealth trans refers to the 3 gear one - am I right?

I know it is never going to be a concours shelf queen, but I hope to be able to make something respectable that I can run now and again without worrying about it too much.

Someone on the RC10 forum reckons the shocks are from a Schumacher Cat. Would make sense as Schumacher parts are probably easier to find in the UK than AE parts.

Looking on ebay.com, I am pleasantly surprised by the cost of AE parts in the US (compared to equivalent Tamiya bits for example), however shipping costs more than remove any difference :(

I had a measure and the Sierra shell will fit my Mardave Cobra chassis, which I think would be rather cool...

Can anyone suggest where I might get a rally car interior?
