Kyosho Raider alternative parts /upgrades 9 years 2 months ago #33149

Hi all,

Just realised I should post here!

I've just started rebuilding my childhood car and finally worked out how to find original parts to fix and get it running again, in the process I've upgraded the shocks and that got me thinking, but searches have revealed nothing that makes sense.

Does anyone have suggestions on upgrading the rear suspension and hubs to aluminium or alloy parts? Maybe heading towards a hybrid vehicle.

Many thanks

:) you have a nice runner. The most important is that it is a pleasure for you.
( mine had red option house shocks)
ps most of later kyosho chassis have common parts. for example, the zr1, the pure ten gp mk1 and hi rider2. it is easy to find spare to restore or upgrade an old kyosho ;)
that s easier than some tamiya. And better in my mind :P
