TOPIC:

We've had the chat function running here for a couple of months now.
The question is: do we need it ?

I must admit that I don't use it, and actually find it a bit annoying...

So, what do you think?

Honestly I've only used it once or twice...
It kind of slows down page loading and the "chat room" button is right over "home" for TB.
The friends connection is quite handy though to easily find someone you want to send a message to.
Overall my vote would be - exit chat function...

it dosent always show who is on line to chat to so i second it, remove it. you can always pm someone if you want to ask them something you dont want the whole world to see

it was a good idea but it never really worked.

Possibly the pace on TB lends itself more towards pms and such.
Agree with agemax that it was a cool feature in itself.

the chat should still be there but you can turn it off in your account settings page
