Im still not convinced sticking different stickers on it would make me like that bodyshell any more  the designers must have had a days holiday when this was conceived. you should just convert it to a madbull.............job done.

A bit more progress:

Primer:

Rubbed down with 2000 grit paper:

Part painted:

I say "part" painted, as out of a clear blue sky a few drops of rain interrupted play - after a few days of making sure the paint was dry, there were a few spots of damage including this one - easily rubbed off with more 2000 grit paper...

Full coat of paint (VW Alpine White):

... and clear:

Rubbing out/polishing, detail painting & decals to come later :)

:woohoo: Better than tamiya adds.
Will you use the MSC? On mine the resistor blocks the plastic radiator :(

Very nice Jonny :y:
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Working on the missing bits while rebuilding:

Battery holder doodad (polish & wire link to chassis to stop it being lost may follow later):

Red rear shocks were donated by the front end of a King Blackfoot:

Gearbox pivot peg arrangement replaced with a balljoint, two rod ends (one of which fit around the new pivot pin), and an M3x12 grub screw:

Rear hubs are a combination of normal 12mm hubs, brass Clod/Bullhead leftovers, and Araldite:

Finished:

You mentioned that before ... I don't know what to tell you, either you don't have the correct bits or they're not fitted correctly?
