TOPIC:

This will be my custom version of a Hornet III that never was.

Design Elements:
(This may get edited as things progress)
* Start with Kit 58416 Rising Fighter - Arguably the successor to the 58124 Super Hornet that never got the attention or parts it deserved.
* Stadium Blitzer Front and Rear Shocks
* AMPRO Double Wishbone Front End
* AMPRO Rear Suspension Shock Mounts (lowers the overly aggressive attack angle of the stock Rising Fighter)
* AMPRO Rear Suspension Crossbar
* AMPRO Transmission Brace
* AMPRO Bumper w/ Aux Light Mounts
* Motor - TBD
* Wheels and Tires - TBD
* Custom Decals from MCI - TBD

Since the body is basically a Super Hornet but with separated wing, it is the natural choice.
BUT, I think a different paint scheme is warranted, rather than the safety of full-on black.
Here is my first quick and ugly photochop of what I'm envisioning. I'm still working on the wing in my head, but some black stripes will likely follow across onto the wing in a natural flow, to break up the orange, with black wing sides/fins.
