Nice and smooth. B)
We said it before. Looks easy but anybody who's ever done something like that knows how hard it really is. :pinch:

Tackled the huge gap between the chassis & the body: card template, marked out on thin Aluminium sheet, cut out with aviation snips, sanded the edges, bent to fit & held on with servo tape:

Final bit of hole filling is to deal with the shoddy moulding on the arms ... what's that phrase again? "First in quality around the World"?

I mean, seriously: look at the final "joint" on the fingers - the last time I saw knuckles like that they were on one of H. R. Geiger's "Face Huggers"

Are you refering to the face huggers in the Alien movies? Nice job on the sides.

Started painting the driver ... 3 coats of XF-7 Flat Red:

... added some stripes (2ml XF-7 Flat Red, 6 drops XF-1 Flat Black), going at 45 degrees on the pockets:

... added some XF-20 Medium Grey for the horizontal stripes:

... added a whole load of black for the final layer - it looks ok from a couple of metres away

Used XF-18 Medium Blue for the base coat on the jeans - which looks way too dark, even though it looks ok in the photo ...

Mixed 2ml XF-2 Flat White + 1ml XF-18 Medium Blue - much better ... also put on first coat of white for the t-shirt & "Flesh" on the hands:

Belt, buttons, hilights & lowlights on the jeans, quick brown wash on the hands ... head & hat are as they came out of the box :)
