Could one of you guys help me out. Looking to put oil shocks on my new lunchbox build. Could someone recommend a decent shock and proper length to use. I have seen so many different choices these days. I would like an aluminum or anodized oil damper. Preferably by a brand that doesn’t have leak issues. I plan on buying the shapeways upgrades as well if it helps.

IMO, classic tamiya cva are the best. But I had same fun with the classic springs more bouncings and more fun.

I can recommend the CVA's. I originally used them on my LB and they worked great,
I do have some Chinese oil filled ones on LB #2 but the fronts need to be shorter which I have but not fitted yet. They work ok for what I want, springs need to be softer so the CVA's would be better as they should have the right springs for the LB Regards

I guess what I’m looking for is some bling factor. This guy will be for the shelf. I plan on getting another in spring to bash around with my kids. (7/5)

85mm is what is the suitable length after what I'm heard.
Type in 85mm shocks on ebay and you will get loads of options, from plain to bling. Look for SCX10 shocks as most is listed for crawlers. 75-80 will work too. With swapping out the bottom rod ends you can adjust the hight up and down a few mm, depending which rod ends you use. I use that trick all the time. 80mm of these maybe?? www.ebay.com/it...BMjPXS2rdf
