Thanks chaps
Today was a messy day in the mancave.... I have trimmed down some 10mm leds to fit as both front daylight/indicators and rear lights. Those 10mm leds are yelow so perfect for the front, and for the rear I'm going to paint them translucent red in hope the yellow shine behind will make it look like regular bulbs. |

You'll need a lot of paint to have a good red. I tried this method and didn't work as well I thouht. And they were white leds

You are right Flo, the yellow bleed through, but on this is about accurate how the lights are in real life.
Today I got all the leds wired up. I'm happy with the outcome. Used warm white in headligts as pr my Escort build.. The yellow is very difficult to get a good picture of. Much more yellow in real life. Without lights on Next is sanding, primer, sanding and paint...
