TOPIC:

My second Zakspeed Capri is built, this time the Mampe version.
Used MCI decals on this, but the person that designed this must have forgotten to use a ruler, some decals too small, some too big, wrong curves on some decals and there was a few decals missing as well.
Due to those reasons, this has been the hardest body to decal up to date for me. Also the one I'm least happy about.
Had to rob some decals from my Carson Mampe decal sheet and also from my second Würth decal sheet.









With that, my Mampe collection is complete.

Next on my Zakspeed lineup is the Jägermeister Capri (have body, paint and decals).
By then I'm out of chassis so I will make display chassis for the remaining ones. One of my mate is a metal roof fabricator so I plan to make him cut them after my drawings.
 

Mampe body looks very nice Richard. And the display chassis is a very good idea. You should draw a trimable one to adapt several types of bodies. And your capri collection is awesome.

You fooled me on the decals sizes, I think it looks great!

It's a shame it was such a headache, though.

Mci decals are sized for tbg bodies there is 2to 4% size differences with classic tamiya bodies.  I had some decals issues with first gen egress decals and dirt thrasher ones.

I actually had a hard time with some MudBlaster decals from MCI that didn't line up at all like I remember................

It's a bit strange because TBG does not do this body at all.
Only available as Tamiya or Team C...

Maybe a scale issue when they scanned it.
