hope to get an answer on this forum
Ive got an old 02H motor that was saved after a garage clean that resulted to bin my top force I hard 18 years ago. fortunately that motor I lent to a neighbor and was saved in his attic yesterday I bought a used manta ray I intend to restore and upgrade. So I need an ESC that can handle the power of this motor. I could go the easy brushless way but the nostalgia mosquito has bitten me when I found the vintage tamiya group on facebook. anyone can help with an affordable suggestion? |

The quickrun 1060 might work is a nice ESC for running the manta ray. But better hang on to the 02H as a collectible and get another motor to run, brushes and a new rotor might be hard to get ( and add an alloy motor mount + steel pinion)

Harder to find then the 540VZ, and more expensive. And looks way better

that's the point.
though hopping up with all the original parts should cost a small fortune. so the center transfer axle Imay use the year racing one. at least to be able to run this untill I maybe able to acquire all the parts. also the shocks top mounts could be an easier and cheper solution to use the aluminium(or alouminum) aftermarket ones instead of the carbon plates which are extremely rare to find and also uber expensive. they can be from 300-500usd on ebay |
