I thought about this last night. But I think i would also need some plastic parts to mount the ahock mounts correct? The chassis should be easy to make and use but how do you

Yes you would need the J-parts and some alloy bits those are very hard to get/expensive (nice project for Shapeways)
The FRP or Carbon bits can be bought at an UK shop who makes very nice parts. Fibre-lyte .

Alloy shocktowers won't bend but probably break out of the gear boxes on a crash because not enough flex,
will look nice and bling but thats it.

Very nice site.. Just wow..
Will also cost a lot but.. Better than nothing.
And where is a 3d printer when you need it?

I don;t know but a mix with the chassis in carbon and the mounts in aluminium could be the best (easiest) solution

Nope, just gallery pics I came across to illustrate the Fibre-lyte link (I think the plates are at least). :)
Can't provide any info on the suspension arms either but noticed them as well.
The carbon main shaft's pretty cool too, what brand was that again?

Still don't get why the images won't show. Missing something obvious?

To stay on topic, I've moved most of the image linking post to this thread:
tamiyabase.com/...mages.html

www.tamiyabase.com was formatted automatically.
