Sounds pretty awesome (You-G maybe?). :woohoo:

Trying to fit a high torque servo saver... not easy. :S
Looks something like this if you place the servo where it originally goes :

Should be more like this :

So it needs an offset plate. And a very very narrow servo horn...
Cutting an ol' Group C T-bar for that (trying to get the biggest area from it ) :

Lots of fiddling later (and more after) :

All together (might need more adjustment but my fingertips are hurting from free hand precision drilling) :

:)

They would look awesome on my first Grasshopper (for the shelf). :woohoo:
Eddrick's set of Hornet shocks on the rear...

There's your own picture, s-ray. :silly:

Gonna be very tricky to fit in that servo horn with adjusters by the way.
Will need to make another attachment (even narrower) at least...
Another mini mod that comes down to a fraction of a millimeter.

Almost there... but had not forseen the steering angle limitations caused by a raised edge on the Super Hornet arms.
So I need to make yet another servo horn. Not so much narrower this time but with a shorter lever arm :

Could someone maybe measure the length of the arm on the original servo horn for me? I can't seem to locate it myself.
Deriving from the image below, I come to 10mm....
Which I think is extremely short (different scale?).

Already had another idea... I did have the P4 servo ring.
Measured that and used it as a reference for the picture.
Then the servo arm length comes to about 16mm, which sounds a lot more ordinary.
Some confirmation would be nice though. Before I finish yet another horn.

I had made one with a 20mm arm, hence the overextended steering.

I make it 17mm centre to centre for all 3 lower holes as they're in a curve pattern (and 13/12.5/13mm on the #2 part).
