TBH I'm not so sure about the silver wheels though ... unless you're going to echo that somewhere else on the body - like your helmet ?

how rude :lol:

your right definitely echoing silver ;) I have to tie the wheels to the body, so the dash cowl on the cockpit and the Helmet will help us out here :side:

Started preparation of the body tonight, couldn't believe that the black around the driver came off with my high pressure airgun :huh:




The drivers head looks to have had an old man with the shakes paint it and use the same yellow for the eyes that was used for his suit :S




Oh well it will soon be gone. Tomorrow i'll remove the rest of the paint and sand it all down ;)

Hey all, well I finished removing all the paints off the body and helmet, then wet sanded with 600 grit ;) . Gave everything a good wash then laid down the first coats on each, i'll give them another coat tomorrow :) . Coming up nice I think B)

Ok so I think i've let the paint harden up enough, so tomorrow night i'll start detailing the driver and the cockpit :)

Right, well did plenty with the driver painting tonight and tomorrow I should finish to be ready for the decals :lol: i'm not going to show the head until its on but i'm very happy with how its coming along ;)

Lol no no, I progressed much further than this however there is still much detail work to be done :ohmy: after looking at yours and others detailing I felt I had to put in a great effort here not to let my build down by half doing the driver :lol:

still have some minor detailing to do before appling the decals, but i'm pretty happy with results so far, and his head is coming along nicely too :)

Ok so I've completed the body :) , I did all paint and decals then finished with 2 coats of clear. I very happy with the driver ;) , was a little tiresome doing all the detail but work it in the end? Now that this parts completed its time to put the last of the electronics in and shes done :laugh: .
