Yes it will be some great fun getting it back to full 'road worthiness'... with all the donor parts I have ready to go, I'm planning on building a second one, but with a new lexan body, which unfortunately lacks some of the original detail.

I've managed to win on eBay a set of original transfers from Germany, as well as a replica set, which on close inspection is nowhere near reproduction excellence!

I'll keep a good photographic record of the restore as well (for not just my own pride!!!)

Here's some pics of my dismantling of the Porsche. I spent some time stripping her down today, and found a few cracked and even broken parts! Very grubby, but a good soapy wash and de-grease for all the metal parts.

If you want I have a new central diff wich was a hop up for the 959. It had never run and I have no more porsche. It is a nice option. If you want I can sell it. It is just built. I never rebuilt my 959. I sold it as spares.
