This will have to be adapted, tamiya prepared the lower chassis plate (the holes are all there) but apparently never released a hopup for actualy mounting the saddle packs.



First thing will be making a 2x 3cell saddle pack and abusing the J9 and J14 part, removing the middle bit and maybe shortening them a little then I will have to find some carbon to make 2 new and longer battery plates.

started work, found some 'vintage' accu packs that might be period correct to convert into 2x3cell NiMh 1700mAh saddles and put a blade into one of the battery Jparts

following TRF501x parts could be used,

carbon battery plates 4304077
and
posts BP5, 9804308

however if this turns out nice, it would be more fiiting to the TF evo style mounts.



does anybody have a TRF501 and can tell what size these holes in the CFplates are?
