Starting to want one of these quite badly now, just as I thought I'd got all the cars I was interested in!

Interesting, chassis parts look like a mixture of F2 & CS. Is the car smaller than the CS? - It might be my memory playing tricks on me, but I seem to remember thinking when doing my F2 van, that it seemed considerably smaller than the Celica CS I had back in the 80s (I take it I'm right in saying the black plastic front axle support plate thingy & motor pod are the same as F2?)

Finished the chassis. As it is almost impossible to find a 58005 motor mount i decided to build the chassis up with a 58008 motor mount to start with. Will be replaced when i find one.

Now onwards with the body :)

Update; stil working on the 58005 body, got the air intakes and roof made but cannot get the colour right, as i decided to leave the original 1979 (according first owner) paint intact.
Also still have to make a rear wing for it, which will ofc give the same trouble.

And the virus spread again....

Will go for another rebuild B)
Got another body and windows AND finally found a wing!
Got right on with stripping the paint off :)

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Got the body ready for sanding and primer. This one will be made box-art! :)

Also restored the chassis, no electronics fitted yet (and yes, yet another CS motor mount... :) ). As this one will be build box-art it has the gold coloured rims on it B)
