Hi everyone,

I'm restoring a 58044 Pajero where the 'bathtub' chassis is badly damaged and I'd like to source a new/replacement one.

Is this chassis shared with another model like the Vanessa's Lunchbox?

You can rebuilt it with parts of a lunchbox. The main chassis is some different but relatively similar

As Stingray says, it's similar to Lunchbox, but not the same.
Unfortunately, there are no other models that share the 58044 Chassis.

But, the Lunchbox chassis can be modified to fit the Pajero. Some cutting and arranging a front body mount are the hardest bits.

Thanks chaps... looks like I'll make-do and repair the chassis, as well as keep my eyes peeled on the bay for any cheapies!
