Manta Ray shock springs 10 years 2 months ago #27699

Hello guys

I have restored my old Manta Ray and it has come out really good:-)

The thing is that the shocks springs are really soft and i just want to get some one that are harder. I could got with some aluminium hop up but i want to keep as original as possible.

My question is which springs do i need, i have looked at asiatees.com and rcmart and there are alot of them avaible but i don't know which one i have to choose.

I found these but will they fit?

Hopefully some of you guys can help me:-)

Thanks in advance.

The easiest is to use harder oil ;)

I think stock shock oil is around 200-250cw - If you want them a bit harder I'm guessing between 400 and 800cw would work..?

You could also use/move the adjustment ring to ad tension of course.
Not sure TC springs are any harder - and I think that shop is just a database (better look on eBay).

;) MantaEdouray is right. On my shelf queen one I put the ring on the max tension for the rear. And double springs on my runner

Thanks guys for your input.... I will get some oli and try that.
I have tried to take the tension ring all the way down but i don't think it works.
If i decide to get some new springs, what will you recommend for my?

Using rear (original) springs on the front might also work.
