hi Martin, firstly you need to reduce the width of the fixation of the rear arms( to can introduce them in the body)
and cut the side arms in the middle, introduce a 3 or 4 mm wire inside and reglue the arms. The rest is installation. willy could need 2 or 3 layers of foamed double sided tape to be fixed in a good place or lightly modified. Mine is not realy nice adapted but presents good. made with the last photpoorshop

I think it is only the position of the side bars that is different and I think they can be moved (on the Marui kit). I have seen pictures of the CJ-7 with the bars at the top and in the middle.
If the Tamiya ones cannot be moved to the top, then it doesn't matter. I am sure it will be close enough. |

re paint colours, I don't think a "subtle" shade really goes on a truck with a rollcage, body lift, widened axles & oversized, spiked tyres
Besides which, I'm a on a bit of an orange streak myself |
