And while at it, did also something to fix red rear 5 mm leds


I'll do a test print later on. If all goes as expected, soo the Javelin will be running with lights, and more parts will be on Thingiverse

Both front and rear part works, but no more leds right now... so no way I mount those at the moment.
I reworked the front part as well to do a smaller one as I felt it was too large.

Ehehhhh back from holidays.

Updated the front led light buckets holder and uploaded on Thingiverse.
It should be much more reliable


At the analysis, I discovered the part broke exactly where I added a hole in order to fix the light bucket (there is a protusion to fix the orientation. I added it in the print, it should be more sturdy, I also increased the width at the broken area, and made a recess to allow the screw to get in).

Next is to do similar improvement on the Super Hotshot part (which I suspect will have the same issue)

My Javelin is not a shelf queen



I did a full run on the garden track to capture some footage and test successfully the new part. It worked well, but I may need to something to improve it slightly: When crashing, the part move a bit and the car is looking in the sky :-D



Nothing major, as it is easy to put back in place

The video is here. The garden is in a slope, and not a small one. Turning is always a challenge on any of the track I draw in my garden... And so far, the Javelin is the easier ride in this environment...
