Yep work is hard. I am at home since several weeks du to my health. And covid doesn't help.

I have worked all the way through it. If I don't work I don't get paid so not a lot of choice but at least I have work so I am grateful. Take care of yourself, I hope you are getting better.

When do UK model shops reopen ?  Just looking for TS-16 paint and shipping costs the same as if not more than the paint, Ridiculous

I havent painted any bodies myself yet apart from plain colours No complicated stuff,. The tests are to come IF i can get some paint without having to take out a mortgage.

Shipping is stupid everywhere today.
Most things on ebay is costing about 13 quid now to me.

I ordered a TL01 chassis a few days ago here in norway and that chassis alone did cost me 8.39 in shipping and that chassis is feather light.

And fo us norwegians we have about 25% tax on most things imported, including rc parts.

I know its mad. I'm going to wait a week or so until the shops can open. I have a model shop 5 minutes away which I hope will stock the tamiya paint.   I have got lots of Airbrush paint, that will probably work but I want the proper colour.

After buying some plastic primer that Jonny recommended I popped into a local car spares shop who sell Hycote paint to see if they have any satin clear. Looking through the paint rack I noticed they sell AA yellow. It could be a good alternative to the TS16 I got a few weeks back.
