So, I am in the middle of building a NIB FAV, and I have come to the point where I need to decide if and how to paint the FAV...
My worry is that painting the FAV involves painting the rollbar, chassis etc, and then I would have to remove all details not to be painted. Also, I forsee some problems in aligning the paint scheme if I paint the parts separately. So, did you paint your FAV? If so, how did you do it? -Lars |

The best job on painting the FAV that I have seen is from D-spec. I know he used a brush and painted it in individual pieces. I would check out his showroom and use his pictures as a guide line. Wish I could help more. But you should definitely check out his FAV.

I would also brush paint it.
Not least because I've noticed that a lot of real military vehicles have brush painted camouflage, so this is one instance where that is actually more authentic than a perfect shiny spray job. Use a really fine brush and thick paint to try to get the texture right. |

i paint 1/35 scale armor and what i do is assemble the entire thin. then after i get teh base color down i use an airbrush for the camo patterne then i go in with a detail brush to paint the details. then if you choose to you can do some "weathering" to give it a more realistic detailed look.
