Tamiya Thunder Shot "project" :P 10 years 6 days ago #29205

I've got far too many "projects" (i.e. piles of junk) here so some will have to go. I prefer the older stuff, so I think my recently-acquired Thunder Sh*t will be the first.

It is very well used and has suffered some bodgery, particularly around the fragile front suspension.
I have no idea what it is worth in this condition, so open to offers.
If there is any interest, I will post more pictures.

Sorry, busy weekend.
I will post some pics shortly.

I gave it a clean last week and removed some of the bodgery and it's not actually too bad. I also found some of the bits needed to fix it in the spares that came with it :y:

Some photos HERE

At first inspection it needs:
Tyres
Front steering knuckle/hub
Front upright
A5 part and/or aftermarket reinforcement part
A lot of TLC

edit: and paint stripper. It's been daubed with red paint, but this comes off fairly easily with Graffiti Remover.
