Could they be reproduced from piano wire? (Spring steel rod available in lots of diameters at most model shops) - forgive my ignorance, but I've never seen them so don't know what they look like/how difficult it would be

thanks eddrick for the idea but they are made from black plastic this is why they never last if anybody has got some please get in touch I all so need the two little inserts that

The Cheetah / XR311 torsion bars are hard to find because they are of plastic and broke very often.
The XR311 use two E20 and two E22, the Cheetah don't use the E20s, but instead the extra E23s on the E sprues. (The Cheetah and XR311 does not have the same wheelbase. Your best bet is to keep looking on ebay.com to find these. -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
