Why have you got a part W tree? Is there something you're hiding from us?
- a missing grille suggests a vintage 3-speed being resto'd...

Used the grill for an RC4WD Mojave Hilux body. Came with the square headlight grill which I dislike very much.

I prefer the look of mk2 Hilux square-light grille, but looking properly at the 2 versions though, the grille of the RC4WD one doesn't look right to me - I think that grille should have the round lights & the Tamiya version should have the square ones? (Trying to remember what the mk1 & mk2 1:1 grilles were like)

Just been having a look through my various parts catalogues for Hilux bits & it appears I may be talking rubbish - it seems the 2 types of grille were fitted to both versions, with both options of headlights, mainly defined by the exact age & country it was built for.

I'll just ammend my statement to say I preferred the grille on my old mk2 truck, Tamiya-style grille with rectangular lights

Over the years I've seen probably dozens of different grill/headlight combos on late 70's Yota 4x4's and 4x2's. I'm thinking they were based on trim and drivetrain packages. In my small mind it's like I've never seen 2 alike.
