Well done on the driver also, very nice and detailed.
What paint is on the helmet? It looks like Hammerite?

Good choice :y: I must warn you then, that this year I'm going through all my collection (60+) and finishing them to this standard :cheer: I hope your not influenced to much :laugh:

Well after receiving a basket case FAV, Tonight started the beginning of it's restoration. Chassis media blasted.....

As I received it:



After sorting out the keeper parts & the junk ;)



And tonight after blasting.





If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Continued media blasting tonight with the roll cage, side covers & front arm mount getting done :) Then I managed to lathe and tap 1 of the new alloy cage braces.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

More progress on the cage, 2nd alloy brace finished and both wet sanded. Media blasted the screws and the lower gearbox mount, All these parts will be painted as one :)

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Little bit tonight, Grey hammer tone on the cage and Copper hammer tone on the chassis. Couple of other pieces done to ;)
I also put the swing arms and mounts through the Ultrasonic cleaner :)




If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
